Hj. Ai Tin Sumartini, S.Pd., M.Pd. adalah guru PKn SMPN 5 Kota Tasikmalaya dan alumnus PKn FPIPS UPI, dan penyandang guru berprestasi. Sejak 1994 sampai sekarang, selain mengajar di sekolahnya, Ai Tin juga kerap mengikuti berbagai perlombaan dan berhasil mendapatkan peng­hargaan. Dengan demikian Ai Tin merupakan juga guru yang menginspirasi para guru lainnya.

Penghargaan yang berhasil diperoleh Ai Tin di antaranya Apresiasi dari BPIP sebagai satu dari 74 ikon Prestasi Pancasila; penghargaan Satyalencana Pendidikan dari Kemdikbud RI (2018); Juara Ke-1 Inobel Kategori IPSB Jenjang SMP Tingkat Nasional (Kemdikbud RI, 2016); juara Ke-1 Lomba Anugerah Konstitusi Jenjang SMP / MTS Tingkat Nasional (MK RI, 2016); juara Ke-2 Lomba Guru PPKn Penerima Anugerah Konstitusi Jenjang SMP Tingkat Nasional (Kemdikbud RI, 2016); juara Ke-1 Lomba Guru PPKn Penerima Anugerah Konstitusi Jenjang SMP Tingkat Provinsi (Disdik Jabar, 2016); juara Ke-1 Lomba Kreativitas Guru Kategori IPS Jenjang SMP Tingkat Nasional (Kemdikbud RI, 2014); serta juara Ke-2 Lomba Kreasi dan Inovasi Media Pembelajaran Jenjang SMP Mata Pelajaran PPKn Tingkat Nasional (Kemdikbud RI, 2010).

Selain itu Ai Tin Sumartini juga mengikuti forum ilmiah dan short course di USM Penang (Malaysia) dan Adelaide (Australia Selatan). Kemudian ia juga cukup produktif menulis. Beberapa karya tulisnya antara lain, buku Bangkitkan Kembali Semangat Nasionalisme di Era Globalisasi, buku PPKn Kelas VII, VIII dan IX (2004/2006), Buku Siswa dan Buku Guru PPKn Kelas IX Edisi Revisi (2016), dan Meniti Jejak Inobel Menuju Netherland.
